WSIB Regulation 1101 requires certified first-aid coverage in every Ontario workplace, sized to your number of workers per shift. Siren Safety delivers the full range of WSIB-recognized first-aid and CPR training, from basic workplace certification to advanced responder-level programs, on-site across Northern Ontario or on scheduled dates.
Naming update (June 22, 2026): WSIB aligned first-aid training with CSA Z1210:24. Emergency First Aid is now "Basic First Aid" and Standard First Aid is now "Intermediate First Aid." Existing certificates stay valid until they expire.
Which certification does your workplace need?

Workplace certification
- Basic First Aid & CPR: for workplaces with 5 or fewer workers per shift
- Intermediate First Aid & CPR: for workplaces with 6+ workers per shift
- Advanced First Aid: advanced skills for workplace first-aiders and emergency response teams
- CPR / AED: standalone CPR and defibrillator certification
- Airway Management · Oxygen Therapy: add-on skills for responders
Responder & specialized certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS): for healthcare providers and trained first responders
- First Responder: 40-hour frontline emergency response program
- Emergency Medical Responder (EMR): 80-hour advanced certification for industrial & remote sites
