Newton MEWP Kit 2
The Newton MEWP Kit 2 bundles the Petzl NEWTON® Size 2 fall-arrest harness with a pre-assembled ABSORBICA®-I 150 lanyard, two connectors, two positioning bars and a rope bag, ready to put into service.
This kit suits utility linemen, telecom technicians and construction crews working from mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) — boom lifts, scissor lifts and bucket trucks — where the worker ties off to the platform anchor point for fall restraint or fall arrest. The Petzl NEWTON® harness offers a textile sternal attachment point and a metal/textile dorsal attachment point, plus equipment loops and TOOLBAG slots so tools stay within reach while working from a bucket. The Petzl ABSORBICA®-I 150 lanyard is a fixed-length, 153 cm single-leg energy absorber designed for a horizontal lifeline or an elevated platform without passing intermediate anchors, rated for users weighing 60–140 kg (75–140 kg under CSA Z259.11-17).
