Exo® Ap Hook

The Petzl EXO AP HOOK is a personal escape system built for firefighters and other emergency responders who need to self-rescue from height when a fixed anchor point cannot be guaranteed.

Firefighters use the EXO AP HOOK to bail out from an upper floor during a structure fire: the HOOK anchor sets around a structural element with a locking hitch, or braces against a window sill as a last resort, then a self-braking, anti-panic system lets the user climb out a window and control the descent by hand. If the user grips the handle too hard, the anti-panic function brakes automatically, limiting the force transmitted to the user. This D031AB00 configuration ships without the fire-resistant carry bag included on Petzl's standard EXO AP HOOK kit.
