Industries We Serve
Every high-risk sector carries its own hazards, its own regulations, and its own way of working. We build safety and rescue around yours.
Siren Safety works across the industries that define Northern Ontario's economy, from the mines around Sudbury to the transmission towers, logging roads, construction projects, and film sets spread across the North. What these workplaces share is risk. What sets them apart is how that risk shows up, and how the law expects you to manage it. A confined space in a mine, a suspended worker on a scaffold, a climber on a hydro tower, and a stunt performer over water are four different problems with four different answers.
That's why we don't hand every client the same binder. Each industry below has a dedicated program built around its actual hazards, its governing regulations, and the realities of its worksites.
The sectors we serve
Mining Hard-rock operations face stacked hazards: confined spaces, hazardous atmospheres, work at height, and long distances from emergency services, all compressed into shutdowns and turnarounds. We provide embedded standby rescue, confined space and atmospheric training, and remote-site medical capability built for the way a mine actually runs.
Construction On a construction project the obligations are strict and deadline-driven: CPO-approved Working at Heights training, written suspended-worker rescue procedures, confined space plans, and WSIB first-aid coverage, all in place before the work starts. We get crews compliant on-site and stand by for the high-hazard phases.
Utilities & Forestry Towers, transmission lines, and the bush put crews where help is far away. We deliver rope and tower rescue for elevated structures, wildland fire suppression (SP105/SP106) matched to fire-cache obligations, water and ice rescue, and the remote-site readiness these operations depend on.
Film & Television The locations that make the North cinematic are the ones that put cast and crew at risk. As a NOHFC-qualified supplier, we provide scene-by-scene risk assessments, written rescue plans, stunt and rigging standby, water safety, and certified on-set medical personnel that keep productions compliant and insured.
Don't see your industry?
These four sectors are where we work most, but the same approach, hazard assessment, the right training, and rescue capability sized to the risk, applies anywhere high-risk work happens. Municipal operations, industrial facilities, oil and gas, and emergency services all draw on the same disciplines.
If it's outside the box, we're built for it. Tell us about your operation and we'll scope the coverage it needs.
